This session had everything – a trendy couple (the dreads omg), a freshly painted parkade, a bag of McDonald's, and even a longboard. Oh, and let’s not forget the puddle-jumping and surprise rainstorm that made it feel like I was illustrating a scene in a romantic comedy.

Ok ok ok, for the record - we don’t get McDonald’s everyyyyy time we do couples photos in Edmonton. Maybe just every third time.  ;)

From the moment we met, I knew this couple wasn’t interested in the typical engagement shoot. They wanted something that was an extension of their personalities: laid-back, fun, and spontaneous. So instead of the “typical” picturesque trees + dead grass vibe #iykyk, we headed to a local parkade in downtown Edmonton for a more urban, edgy feel.

We finished the fries when the weather began to shift. Instead of calling it quits, these two embraced the rain with full enthusiasm. They grabbed hands and started jumping in the puddles like kids.

If you’re looking for a couples photographer in Edmonton who loves the authentic, fun, and REAL moments - I’m your person. Getting photos doesn’t have to suck, pinky swear.
